In the wake of the French terror attacks, Obama has forgotten what democracy means.
Following pressure from Republican critics about his anti-terrorism strategy, Obama lashed out saying he is “too busy” to sit down and come up with a rational, bi-partisan solution for the ongoing terror attacks around the globe, and it’s threat to America.
But what is he so busy with? At the G-20 conference in Turkey this weekend, Obama failed to arrive on time for a moment of silence for the victims of the french terror attacks.
America’s oldest ally isn’t important enough to you?
Obama continued his tirade against his critics, saying:
“What I’m not interested in doing is posing or pursuing some notion of American leadership, or American winning or whatever other slogans they come up with, that has no relationship to what actually is going to work to protect the American people”
What is actually going to work to protect the American people? Obama has made an active decision to ignore input from his critics. It’s his way, or the highway.
Obama added a final stab at republicans saying:
“If they think that somehow their advisers are better than the chairman of my Joint Chiefs of Staff, and the folks who are actually on the ground, I want to meet them.”
Maybe so, but the point here Obama is that in a democracy you listen to the needs and voices of your people, not yourself.
