Stop Big Government
The Federal Government has expanded the scope of its power at an alarming rate. With our National Debt exceeding $17 trillion, Washington’s deficit spending continues to mortgage our future to fund federal programs we don’t need and can’t afford. It is currently running an annual deficit of $489 billion. This has to end. We must cut spending across the board, especially where service delivery can be run more efficiently at state or local level such as education, healthcare and environmental stewardship. We must cut spending and balance the Budget. We demand increased accountability and transparency in the Federal regulatory process.
The regulations imposed by the United States Tax Code are too complicated for average citizens and too easy to dodge for large corporations. Our tax system needs root and branch reform — now.
Millions cross our border without our knowledge and are a clear threat to our national security. Border security is our first priority in the protection of our country from terrorists, foreign enemies and the economic threat posed by illegal immigration.
Social Security and Medicare have been promised and paid for. Yet, greed and incompetence have emptied the Social Security and Medicare trust funds. It is essential we make these programs sustainable.
Bailouts and crony capitalism put enormous strain on the federal budget. We must say no to subsidies and grants that prop up companies that would fail in the free market.
We must audit of the Federal Reserve and establish how our money is being spent by Washington.
Stop Socialized Medicine
The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA) – “Obamacare” rapidly expanded the powers of government into the healthcare system. It is unconstitutional to force citizens to participate in this scheme and the Act should be repealed immediately. We support candidates, Senators and Representatives committed to fair, constitutional, and realistic healthcare for America.
Stop the Gun Grabbers
Gun control laws only restrict access to responsible gun ownership. As the saying goes, “If guns are outlawed, only outlaws will have guns.” The Second Amendment is the Amendment to the Constitution that guarantees the rest. We must stand against any action to remove it, to remove our firearms, or to make America an unsafe place by allowing only criminals (and the government) the right to bear arms.
