Israel’s Killers Never Forget — And the October 7 Butchers Are Finding Out Why

Terrorists love to believe that time and distance will protect them. They hide behind new identities, blend into crowds, or cower in tunnels thinking the world has moved on. Israel has a different policy: they remember every face, every name, and every atrocity. The body count keeps climbing because justice delayed is still justice.

The pattern is as old as the Jewish state’s fight for survival. After the 1972 Munich Olympics massacre — where Black September terrorists, a Palestinian faction with deep ties to the broader movement, slaughtered 11 Israeli coaches and athletes — Prime Minister Golda Meir did not issue strongly worded statements or beg for international sympathy. She authorized targeted operations that hunted the perpetrators across Europe and the Middle East. Operation Wrath of God sent Mossad teams after the planners and facilitators. The campaign stretched years, ending with a final strike in Cyprus in 1988. Roughly nine to eleven key figures tied to Munich were eliminated, with collateral hits bringing the total closer to twenty. A mistaken killing in Lillehammer showed the risks, but the message was unmistakable: there is no statute of limitations on Jewish blood.

The same steel resolve is playing out today against the animals who rampaged on October 7.

The Unit That Hunts Without Rest

Israeli authorities report that forces have eliminated 2,561 of the approximately 3,000 terrorists who crossed from Gaza into Israel that day. About 1,000 died in the initial fighting as Israeli forces clawed back control of the border communities. The rest have been methodically tracked down by a specialized unit called Nili — formed right after the massacre and drawn from Shin Bet and IDF elements. The name comes from a biblical phrase meaning “the Eternal One of Israel will not lie.” It is a promise kept in blood.

Nili uses facial recognition on footage from the attacks, electronic surveillance, intercepted communications, and — crucially — interrogations of captured Hamas and Islamic Jihad fighters. These groups talk when cornered. Self-preservation beats ideology every time. The unit has no interest in trials for the worst offenders. Evidence of participation is enough. The hunt continues inside Gaza and beyond, with hundreds still on the list.

Recent strikes show the pace has not slowed. Mahmoud Izzval Din, who took part in the massacre of an entire Israeli family on October 7, was eliminated in Gaza after living under a different identity. Fadi Falah Ashour Dughmush, a Hamas training commander who led terrorists that kidnapped, assaulted, and murdered an Israeli mother and her two children, met the same fate. Tamer Saeed Abu Nakhal, the savage who kidnapped, tortured, raped, and killed Eden Yerushalmi, was found operating as a mechanic before Israeli forces ended him.

These are not random battlefield deaths. They are deliberate accountability for specific barbarism captured on video and in survivor accounts.

The Message to Every Future Butcher

Terrorists who thought hiding in Gaza, changing names, or counting on international pressure would save them are learning the truth the hard way. Israel does not forgive and does not forget. The same principle that drove the response to Munich now drives operations against October 7. Every eliminated target sends the signal that there is nowhere to run and no expiration date on consequences.

Critics will whine about “cycles of violence” or disproportionate responses. They always do. The proper response to savages who rape, burn families alive, and parade corpses is not negotiation or restraint. It is the systematic removal of those who planned and carried it out. Israel is delivering exactly that.

The hunt is not over. Hundreds more October 7 participants remain, and Israeli forces keep reinforcing efforts inside Gaza to finish the job. The message is clear to Hamas, Islamic Jihad, and every would-be jihadist: participate in that kind of evil and you will spend the rest of your short life looking over your shoulder — until the day the knock comes or the drone strikes.

Golda Meir understood it in 1972. Israeli leaders understand it now. Some enemies only respect one language, and Israel is fluent in it. The body count of October 7 perpetrators keeps rising because that is the only language these monsters understand.
