Note: This is the fourth article discussing the planning for a coup against the government of the United States. First three are listed here.
A new set of recordings names the structure that sits above the protest groups, the lawsuits, and the state officials already preparing to push back. It is called the United Democracy Alliance. It has no public website and no public roster. Its participants describe four red lines that, if crossed, turn the federal government into something they treat as illegitimate. Governors then become the anchors of authority, and federal workers are already being asked how to slow actions from inside agencies.
🚨🚨 THE DEMOCRACY FILES / ILLEGITIMACY PLAYBOOK, PART 7: THE SECRET MEGA-ALLIANCE WAITING FOR A RED LINE TO BE CROSSED 🚨
What do you call a mega-alliance that:
• Covers hundreds, if not thousands, of protest organizations
• Covers all the lawfare-related organizations
• Liasions with governors when a Constitutional crisis is crossed
• Consults federal workers on how to block emergency efforts
• Runs a situation room for the midterms and beyond
• Is credited to regime change expert and professor Erica Chenoweth
• Is operationalized by National Security Leaders for America, an organization of 1,600 retired officers, spies, and diplomats
• … and determines the “red lines” for mobilization of the above?Meet the United Democracy Alliance (UDA).
UDA is the secret alliance behind the messaging we saw this week:
• JB Pritzker’s warning that states will “strongly resist”
• Governor Newsom’s office declaring a “CODE RED”
• Norm Eisen talking about “war rooms”
• Slotkin predicting a “national security incident”You will not find any mentions of the United Democracy Alliance (UDA) on the web. It is a mega-alliance of resistance NGOs ready to deploy on a moment’s notice, monitoring every action President Trump takes and monitoring every polling place.
We only can put together the pieces by recordings. Some key quotes:
• “if there’s a moment where there’s a constitutional crisis, like one of the UDA four red lines, if they get crossed… governors then become the kind of lead anchor for political power.” (Zeitz, Aug 6)
• “the big, big, big, big, big tent that’s being organized in the blocking community so that if there is a red line crossed in terms of a constitutional crisis, like, everybody’s already pre-organized.” (Reiff, Aug 5)
• “We are also starting to consult federal workers on how to do some blocking inside the govt agencies during emergency situations” (Eric Manton, Zoom chat, Aug 6)According to @JeffClarkUS , the last point above about federal workers conspiring to block emergency responses may violate serious statutes. More on federal workers involvement in Drop 8.

The Alliance That Stays Off the Internet
The release describes a coordinating body that covers hundreds or thousands of protest organizations, the main lawfare groups, and liaison work with governors. It runs a situation room for the midterms and beyond. It is credited to the academic who developed the 3.5 percent participation rule for nonviolent campaigns. It is operationalized by a network of roughly 1,600 retired military, intelligence, and diplomatic officials. Participants say the pieces are already pre-organized so that if a red line is crossed, everyone knows the role.
You will not find the name on a website or a filing. The structure is assembled from the recordings themselves. One participant says the big tent in the blocking community is set so that if a constitutional crisis line is crossed, the groups are already aligned. Another states that if one of the four red lines is crossed, governors become the lead anchor for political power. A third notes that they are starting to consult federal workers on blocking inside agencies during emergency situations.
The Messages That Match the Plan
The same week the recordings circulated, several public statements tracked the language. One governor warned that states will strongly resist certain federal actions. Another office declared a code red. A prominent lawyer described war rooms for election-week litigation. A senator predicted a national security incident. The release presents these as the visible surface of the same coordination. The groups monitor actions by the administration and activity at polling places. They treat certain responses—use of the Insurrection Act against protesters, or a large public rejection of results—as the triggers that move them from preparation to active non-cooperation.
What Happens After the Line
Earlier parts of the series described the criteria for calling the federal government illegitimate and the transitional arrangements that would follow. This release adds the operational layer: the pre-positioned networks, the situation room, the consultation with federal workers, and the explicit role for governors as the alternative center of authority. The participants do not describe a spontaneous uprising. They describe an already organized response that activates when their own red lines are met.
The materials are the participants’ own words from planning calls. They show a network that has decided in advance which federal actions will be treated as a crisis, which state officials will be asked to step forward, and which workers inside agencies will be asked to impede. That is the concrete addition in the seventh drop. The country now has a public record of the coordination that is waiting for the conditions its organizers have already defined.
