Is the tide turning on climate change? Bill Gates makes the stunning admission that climate change isn’t an existential threat… “There’s a lot of climate exaggeration”, said Gates at a recent event… “The climate is not the end of the planet. So the planet is going to be fine”… and “no temperate country is going to become uninhabitable”.
He’s making out this is all new to him. Obviously it isn’t but as climate hysteria is calming down and ESG investing is falling from favor, he is realizing he has to pivot. He’s still keen to “capture carbon” by ploughing trees into the ground though! Even by his standards, which include depopulating the planet, genetically modifying everything, and making more money for the elites, this is bonkers.
At the Climate Forward event last month, Bill Gates shared doubts about tree planting (really?), but is bullish about carbon capture and the promise of technological innovation. This interview was with David Gelles of The New York Times.
Harvard-Smithsonian astrophysicist Willie Soon:
“For over three decades, the claims and conclusions by UN IPCC reports reigned supreme, unquestioned and unchallenged. Our latest series of three published papers show that those claims are scientifically empty.”… pic.twitter.com/qsHFj9As8G
