Mexico’s President Just Declared War on American Sovereignty

And She’s Using Our Own Courts to Do It

Claudia Sheinbaum is not content with Mexico exporting its problems northward. Now her government is actively sabotaging American law enforcement from within, deploying lawyers, criminal complaints, and international pressure to tie the hands of ICE and shield illegal migrants from consequences. This is not diplomacy. It is brazen interference in U.S. jurisprudence by a foreign power that has profited enormously from the very chaos it now weaponizes against us.

The Mexican foreign ministry openly admitted it is filing criminal complaints with state prosecutors across the United States over deaths of its citizens in immigration custody or during enforcement actions. They are sending cease-and-desist letters to U.S. detention centers. Sheinbaum herself framed this assault as a “nationalist cause for all Mexicans,” declaring the situation “unacceptable” and pushing the United Nations to investigate American deportation operations after 17 Mexican nationals died during the process.

This is not passive concern. It is calculated legal warfare designed to intimidate ICE agents, clog American courts, and deter the repatriation of Mexican citizens who entered our country illegally. While American communities bear the costs of unchecked migration, Sheinbaum’s regime treats U.S. sovereignty as optional.

The Staggering Cost Mexico Imposes on America

Decades of mass migration from Mexico have come with a horrific price tag paid in American blood. Hundreds of thousands of Americans have died from drug trafficking, drunk driving, murders, and other crimes linked to illegal entrants and their networks. In 2025 alone, roughly 70,000 Americans were killed by drug overdoses, the vast majority tied to fentanyl and other poisons smuggled across the southern border. Many more lives ruined while sanctuary cities rolled out the welcome mat.

Just one recent outrage: Mexican national Kenneth Moreno Guzman arrested in Georgia for allegedly raping an 11-year-old girl. Stories like this repeat endlessly because the system has been rigged against enforcement. Roughly 37 million Hispanics of Mexican origin lived in the United States as of recent counts. The establishment loved it—cheap labor suppressing wages, inflated real estate, and consumer spending. Ordinary Americans paid the price in safety and opportunity.

Mexico, meanwhile, reaps massive benefits. The northward flow relieves pressure on their government to fix their own broken economy and welfare system. In 2025, remittances from the United States poured $62 billion into Mexico’s economy—a direct subsidy from American workers and taxpayers. They export their surplus population, import our dollars, and then lecture us about how we enforce our own laws.

Sheinbaum’s Escalation: Foreign Meddling in American Justice

Sheinbaum’s latest moves represent a dangerous escalation. Filing criminal complaints in U.S. state courts, demanding cease-and-desist orders against federal detention operations, and dragging the United Nations into sovereign American enforcement actions is outrageous interference. No foreign government should have veto power over ICE removing people who do not belong here. Yet Mexico is treating our justice system as their playground, all while their cartels flood our streets with poison.

This interference comes at the precise moment President Trump has finally cracked down—stopping the illegal flow, pressuring Mexico on cartels, and prioritizing American security over endless free trade giveaways. Sheinbaum’s response is to weaponize lawyers against the very agencies trying to restore order. It is foreign interference dressed up as humanitarianism, aimed squarely at undermining Trump’s America First agenda.

Americans have had enough. We welcome legal immigrants who contribute and assimilate. We do not owe Mexico a blank check to dump its problems here while they block repatriations and cry foul when consequences follow. Our courts exist to serve American citizens and uphold our laws—not to become tools for a foreign president playing nationalist games on our dime.

The message is simple: Enforce our borders. Deport those here illegally. Stop letting foreign governments dictate how we protect our people. Sheinbaum can posture all she wants. American sovereignty is not negotiable. The interference ends when we decide it ends—and the American people are demanding action now.
