I’ve written about this recently, but it just keeps on coming.
Democrats push the lie that Republicans want to cut Social Security and Medicare whenever they don’t have anything else to beat the opposition with.
Now, our President joins the fray.
Republicans have literally said multiple times they are not cutting Social Security or Medicare.

The truth is that Social Security and Medicare are underfunded and the so-called “Trust Fund” is filled with a bunch of government IOUs. To meet obligations, the Feds will have to either bump up Social Security and Medicare taxes, raise the retirement age or both. Republicans have said, over and over, that they are unwilling to cut benefits. The Democrats were so successful with the Paul Ryan lookalike throwing Granny off a cliff that it’s become their go-to whenever they need to score points.
