We haven’t seen anything like this since the Village People and their iconic song “In the Navy” (watch here) when the US Navy originally wanted to use the song in a recruiting advertising campaign and gave the Village group access to film on the deck of the berthed frigate USS Reasoner. In the end, the Navy did not use the video, choosing to remain with the traditional “Anchors Aweigh”.
