Silly me, I thought the government needed a search warrant to start snooping in my private stuff.
Even that corrupt/sham FISA (Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act) Court at least pretends to have probable cause before issuing a warrant to shine a spotlight on your life.
But that legalese nonsense just gets in the way for the Biden Administration.
They don’t think they need to have anything as outdated as probable cause.
Despite what the Fourth Amendment says:
FBI Director Wray admits the government has been working in conjunction with financial institutions like Bank of America to mine personal data such as gun purchase records for law abiding citizens, with no warrants or subpoenas involved. pic.twitter.com/AxYAMQPYrt

And they don’t need to. Their cronies in the big banks hand over our info without even being asked. How’s that for privacy?
There was a big flap a few months ago when the credit card companies proposed a separate code process for firearm and ammunition purchases. That was mostly withdrawn after we all put up a stink.
But it looks like that banks themselves took it over and are handing your information over if it rings certain bells.
Land of the free? Not so much under the Biden Administration.
