…it’s a win for the Constitution.
Everywhere I read that the recent Supreme Court decisions are “wins” for conservatives.
I respectfully disagree.
They are a win for the Constitution that conservatives support.
But we didn’t win anything. The country won. The people won. The Constitution won.
And conservatives are happy about it.
But we won a bit over two centuries ago when the Constitution was ratified.
It severely limits the power of government (at least it’s supposed to) and guarantees us rights granted by our Creator.
Leftist courts have abused that document rather badly in the past.
The current Court is merely trying to reestablish the boundaries in our founding document. Nothing more, nothing less.
Leftists are appalled. The like the Court to establish things and rights they cannot win legislatively. Abortion. Racial quotas. Compulsory speech — especially in the area of LGBTQ “rights.”
Court says no-go.
And the Left is up in arms.
ABC brought in Donna Brazile and it was quite the meltdown over the SCOTUS decision on affirmative action.
Watch and enjoy.

They rant that the Court has gone rogue and is grabbing power for itself.
AOC: “The courts, if they were to proceed without any check on their power, without any balance on their power, then we will start to see an undemocratic and frankly dangerous authoritarian expansion of power in the Supreme Court, which is what we are seeing now.” pic.twitter.com/pndYqziZHk

Somehow, when the Court does something they like it’s all good. But when they try to enforce that Constitution, that’s bad.
There’s really no win or lose at all in this. Court just determines if something is Constitutional or not. Conservatives should applaud the decisions, but it’s not really our win.
