There’s an old saying that a gun without bullets is just an expensive club.
Or the one that says a computer without electricity is just an expensive paperweight.
But when you cannot charge that expensive electric car, it’s not even useful as a doorstop. It’s just too darn big.
Mostly it’s just in the way…
The enlightened rulers of California have decreed that after January 1, 2035, all new cars and trucks sold in their state must be electric.
Stupid idea. I’ve pointed that out in the past.
But right now, massive storms in Northern California have knocked out power for thousands.

So, here’s my question: If you’ve got no power what good is your electric car? It’s not even useful as a door stop!
